It is a remote-controlled high-performance loader crane with grapple and lifting attachments. With this machine, the operator can remove a whole tree while staying safely on the ground! Tree removal with surgical precision. It is completely safe! No climbers. No buckets in the air. No risk of chainsaw wounds, fall from trees, or getting crushed or electrocuted. Trees can be removed much quicker than using standard tree removal techniques. Ostvig Tree’s T-Rex does these completely from the ground and is totally remote-controlled.
The Ostvig Tree T-Rex is a Palfinger loader crane.
It is a powerful machine that helps us reach very high trees. It can reach up to 25 meters high. That is up to 7 or 8 standard stories of a building. It can carry over 18 tons of heavy logs and machines.
So strong!!!
And it can turn 360 degrees.
The special attachments like the remote-controlled grapple saw and boom arm, help safely cut, grab and hold very high branches – no need for our men to dangerously climb trees.
The grapple head reaches up and grabs the branch. A saw comes out and safely cuts the branch. The branch is then swung over to be either loaded on our truck or run through our brush chipper. Damage to yards, lawns, and surrounding trees and shrubs is at a minimum compared to regular tree removal.
It makes our tree cutting faster and more efficient – very economic and reliable, very safe and productive.
